Great is His Faithfulness

How can an experience be both horrible and wonderful at the same time?  Because G-d give us power to overcome and have joy in the midst of any circumstance.

"Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed,
for His  compassions never fail.
They are new every morning. Great is your FAITHFULNESS."

~Lamentations 3 : 22 - 23

As I sat my daughter's bedside hour after hour for six days, praying for her, covering her with the blood of Yeshua, calling on His angels to surround her, I had energy like I've never known.  Normally I fall asleep at 10 pm like clockwork.  The first night, I stayed by her bed all night.  On the following  nights I was up till 1 am, and up early the next morning to return to her side.  She had called for me to come.  She needed me.  G-d gave me strength I didn't know I had.

By Wednesday night as we moved my daughter to a new hospital,  I felt weary in my body and also in my soul.  I felt I couldn't go another step or even continue to pray.  Father, help me was my silent prayer.

As I breathed that simple prayer, a new guard arrived at the nearby desk, and immediately turned on his radio.  My Father spoke gently, lovingly to me through the words of this song by Steven Curtis Chapman:

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone;
He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on.
Raised in His power, the weak become strong;
His strength is perfect, His strength is perfect.
With tears I prayed, Thank you Father.  I know it was You energizing me every day.  Thank you for renewing my strength right now!  He answered with an energy I have not felt in a long time.  I knew I could go on, even if it took all night.  I would finish my assignment of love, support, and most importantly prayer for my daughter.

Thanks to all of you who are praying for her.  Keep it up.  She is getting better every day, although still hospitalized.  She will need prayers for the next few weeks as she recovers.

Shalom Alechem (Peace to you)

please pray

Dear Friends, Family & Followers (you are my friends, too, even though we've not met in person):

I have been off for a time because my daughter Melissa is very ill.

Please pray for her, and for me as I minister to her.  I'll be back as soon as I can.

Shalom,

GG
