Hey Gail-Friends! I hope you're having a beauty-FULL, wonder-FULL, and thank-FULL week. Mine has been.
The birds from up north have been busy at the feeders this week, and I'm always thankful to see them. Here are a few shots from the past few weeks:
Isn't this fat little robin just the sweetest thing? He was sitting really still in the early morning light.
And look at this pair of doves in the golden rain tree. They sat there for the longest time that day. I think they were people watching.
Here are a few more backyard visitors. I don't know what kind of bird the one on the left is. Any guesses?
And this is a beauty. I think it is a robin, but the color is distorted because he was sitting in bright sunlight. Or it could be the photographer's lack of expertise. (I'm a point and shoot kind of girl.)
We also had a Delta IV rock launch last week. My husband took this shot. It's neat to be able to walk out in your front yard a see a rocket take off.
We're really thankful that the space industry is rebounding here. The loss of the space shuttle program put a huge dent in the local economy.
I'm so thankful to spend time with loved ones.

On our grandson's weekly play day, Jem has been teaching him to make pancakes. He's doing really well at pouring, and flipping, too. He likes to add blueberries, and they taste soooo GOOD!
I've been practicing with my new selfie stick. It has quite the learning curve, so I can't share any of the scary pics I've taken of myself. But, this one is pretty funny (taken by my son in law).
