That a strong-willed, independent woman in her fifties, twice divorced, who’d compared marriage with having your teeth drilled without Novocaine™, could find marital bliss. Well, it happened, and this is my story. I hope you will be encouraged to know that God is the very best matchmaker of all.
I often compare our love story to the Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for forty years. I like to think of it as a story of God’s power and patience to bring about His will in spite of our willfulness. He knows what’s best for us. I hope you will be encouraged and inspired to trust Him in all things.
Join me in reading one of the chapters of the Proverbs per day. I will journal my personal reflections on verses that stand out to me in the passage, and then invite the reader to journal and answer questions about the passage.

It includes daily Bible readings, prayers, and reflections for the eight days of Hanukkah along with songs, instructions for playing dreidel, lots of full-color photos, and some yummy and easy recipes.
