There's a verse that comes to my mind so often lately: "He inhabits the praises of His people." That means when we're praising Him, He draws near to us. Isn't that a wonder-full, comforting thought?
My praise for today:
Father, I praise You for being with me through this period of separation from many of the people I love and from the things I ordinarily do. I have more time to sit still and hear Your voice. I hear You say, "You were born for such a time as this." I know You are with me and You will meet our every need and guide us with your tender, loving hand. Thank you, Father, for Your voice speaking to my heart.
