40 Days to Save America – Day 4

For 40 Days (September 28 - November 6), I will be posting prayers for our country.  These prayers are from the prayer initiative 40 Days to Save America.

 40 Days to Save America

Day 4

Heavenly Father we give You praise, glory and honor this day as we acknowledge You, Creator of this universe, the only living G-d, and Your Son Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah) and His sacrifice on the cross for the sins of the world. Father we come to You in repentance for the condition of our nation because we have turned away from You.

We repent of the six things that You hate according to Proverbs 6: 16-19, as we are guilty of all. A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that manufactures wicked thoughts and plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness, and the one that is an abomination to You: he who sows discord among the brethren. Father we ask for Your forgiveness as we forgive each other.

Father, our eyes are open to the descent of America and we want to put this nation back on track with You but we cannot do it without Your help. We want Your Name to be glorified again across this land. We need Your help to elect a new administration that will acknowledge and honor You and Israel. Father, without You we can do nothing. We pray for wisdom, strength and courage.

Father, renew our strength, give us new hope and make us "one nation under G-d, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." In Yeshua's (Jesus) name we pray. Amen.

We ask that You turn their hearts towards You, Lo-d. We ask that You soften their hearts, Lo-d, to recognize and receive truth. Lo-d, we ask that you grant them the understanding and knowledge that come from the fear of You. We ask that you grant them wisdom and discernment, Lo-d, and that you make them bold to do what is right in Your sight. Lo-d, we ask that you direct their hearts to do Your will. Amen.
