40 Days to Save America – Day 6

For 40 Days (September 28 - November 6), I will be posting prayers for our country.  These prayers are from the prayer initiative 40 Days to Save America.

Day 6

Father, in the name of Yeshua (Jesus)we repent before You both individually and corporately as a nation for every deed committed against You, known and unknown, voluntary and involuntary, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14. We ask that You awaken in us Your Word in such a way that the righteousness of Yeshua touches the deepest level of our beings. We ask and covet Your Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, and to teach us how to pray for America. We pray Your Will be done, Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. We pray for the sprinkling of the Blood of Yeshua over this land for protection and for Grace. This we ask in the matchless name of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah). Amen.

We ask that You turn their hearts towards You, L-rd. We ask that You soften their hearts, L-rd, to recognize and receive truth. L-rd, we ask that you grant them the understanding and knowledge that come from the fear of You. We ask that you grant them wisdom and discernment, L-rd, and that you make them bold to do what is right in Your sight. L-rd, we ask that you direct their hearts to do Your will.
