This is the second post about the final home on the Secret Garden Tour in Titusville / Mims, Florida. Yesterday, we stopped at the pond, and today we'll continue on with the remainder of the garden.
I would love to have a natural-looking pond like this. It's not natural, however. It was dug and landscaped by the homeowner.
These goats though made of metal, looked real as we rounded the bend. The homeowner is from West Virginia, and he insisted on having them in the garden. His wife wasn't too happy about it. I guess that's why they are at the very back of the garden.

Notice the white structure on the left of the photos. There's a good story about it. The homeowner hired a gardener to help with the landscaping who worked on it for many years. The gardener came down with cancer in his senior years, and the homeowner built this little house with a porch over the pond so that he could come here and go fishing any time he wanted. The gardener has since passed away, but he enjoyed it for several months before his death.
