31 Days of Garden Tours - Day 16

Today, we'll continue the 2015 Merritt Island Ace Hardware Garden and Pond Tour.  This is the second of three posts about the lovely Oriental / glass garden of Dolly Wolf, of Melbourne, Florida.  Dolly's glass art creations fill the whole garden.  The picture above is in one of the several unique garden "rooms" she has throughout the yard.

I felt excited to see what was through the gate and around the bend.

In addition to working in glass, the gardener also does clay art pieces.

I'd love to have meandering garden rooms in the backyard of the Golden Cottage.  Everywhere you look is another bit of whimsy.

The one below is my favorite.

Don't you love how Dolly thinks outside the box?  There's so much to see so I'll just let you scroll through and ENJOY!

Yes, that's a real snake skin.  Another surprise! I was hoping the owner wasn't nearby.

We meandered through the garden rooms until we reached the edge of the lake.  We discovered shady areas for resting and enjoying the water views.

I loved this screen with its brightly colored glass inserts.

Here's a unique use for your old wine bottles.

Another place to sit and enjoy the lake.

And that, dear Gail-Friends is the end of the tour for today.  Tomorrow, we'll head back toward Dolly's house, and I'll show you the rest of the garden.  There's still so much more to see of this amazing garden.

 Blessings to you, Gail-Friends!

I'm linking up to the 31 Day Blog Event.

  1. What a fanciful tour, Gail. I would love something like this in my backyard, but not the upkeep. Alas, I am no gardener--just a wordsmith. But, it is in secret places like this that I love to meander aside with the Lord and seek Him and His inspiration for the words I write. When I have had opportunities to do this, He always births such written wonders from my pen.
    Joy!

  3. I enjoy all the garden rooms, and the art work and stained glass adds so much. It looks like a wonderful place to just relax and enjoy God's nature.
