WASHINGTON, Nov. 5, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- An historic
prayer vigil and worship gathering will begin on Tuesday, November 6, at 7:00
A.M. and continue until midnight in Lafayette Park across from the White
House.
Times of corporate prayer will be
12:00-2:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.
The prayer vigil is being
sponsored by the Christian Defense Coalition, Pro-life Nation and the
Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace.
There will also be news
conferences at 12:30 P.M and at 6:30 P.M. to discuss the involvement of prayer
events with respect to our national elections.
The groups believe through prayer
God can shape this election and bring healing to our nation.
The organizers understand the
faith and pro-life community does not have to be "victims" of history but can
see God shape history through prayer.
The groups will be praying in a
direct way for a President who is: pro-life and does not radically support
abortion on demand and the expansion of abortion, will not redefine marriage,
will honor God and religious freedom and will never force people of faith to
violate their core beliefs and conscience, and will embrace human rights and
equal justice for all.
