40 Days to Save America – Day 37

For 40 Days (September 28 - November 6), I will be posting prayers for our country.  These prayers are from the prayer initiative 40 Days to Save America.

Day 37

Merciful L-rd, allow us to hear and respond to Your desires for those who would be Americans. As a people who believe You created all men equal, we pray for Your guidance and wisdom in how we treat those who would want to be American. Guide our leaders to an honorable and wise policy for immigration.

As a nation built by immigrants, we pray for Your protection and direction for the newest immigrants to our country. We pray that our immigrants will be a part of restoring America to You, instead of part of the effort to transform America away from our founders' intent and vision. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

We ask that You turn their hearts towards You, L-rd. We ask that You soften their hearts, L-rd, to recognize and receive truth. L-rd, we ask that You grant them the understanding and knowledge that come from the fear of You. We ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment, L-rd, and that You make them bold to do what is right in Your sight. L-rd, we ask that You direct their hearts to do Your will.
