Pray For The News Media

 

I received this prayer from Concerned Women For America this morning.  I agree with this prayer, and encourage my Gail-Friends to agree also.

Heavenly Father may the media find it profitable and ethical to publish and broadcast only the full and complete truth without bias so that the American public can discern for themselves the reality of the story being reported. When a controversy exists may those in the media desire a right answer and seek the answer in Your Word. May you identify to the public those journalists and publishers of integrity who speak, write and print the truth in the face of all opposition.
 

Throughout these next five days, clear out the deception and distortions, the exaggerations and the spin and sharpen the discernment of each voter as they read, listen and see the news of this election before voting on Tuesday. Remove any doubt in the minds of the voter as we read these words of Franklin D. Roosevelt, "The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.
Let us move forward with strong and active faith."

L-rd we claim the words of the prophet Isaiah for the media in this nation, "He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil--this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress," Isaiah 33:15,16. REJOICE and AMEN
