This 31 day series will focus on the things I learned from Proverbs, as well as some things from Torah study, and will add in a sprinkling of what I've learned from Judaism.
Today, I am reading Proverbs 3, and this chapter is full of the benefits of acquiring and obeying wisdom. Proverbs 3:5-6 is very special to me:
Trust in Adonai with all your heart;
do not rely on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him;
then He will direct your paths.
then He will direct your paths.
I have a deck chair with some very special words painted on the back. I don't sit in the chair. I sit across from it, as a reminder that He is in charge.

As I go through this month of studying Proverbs, I hope you'll join me and read the chapter, too. I'll share what stands out to me for that day.
I'd love for you to share something He shows you through the day's reading.
I'll be linking these posts to the 31 Days event at The Nester
I will be posting daily through October 31. To read the posts, just go to the Labels section on the left, and click on "31 Days of His Wisdom".
Thanks Gail! I needed to be reminded of the stops and starts. Feeling in the middle of a very long delay. :) "But I trust Him."
ReplyDeleteThank you!
So glad you stopped by, Andy!
DeleteI too have read through Proverbs daily during the month throughout my life. The above scriptures have been a lamp for me during some of my darkest days and have now become a witness in my life because of His faithfulness.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at how G-d illuminates something different each time I read through the chapters. Thank you for sharing, Stacy.
